Special Education (Resource Room) Signs and Posters! 30+ Posters!

Ideal for special education but also a great fit for general classrooms, autism programs, ESL\ELL, and school counseling for upper elementary and middle school! Posters are in color, 8.5" X 11", 300 dpi. and png format. Great for special education teachers and school counselors! Many of these posters were created for teachers I've worked with in middle school settings. I've noticed teachers and teacher assistants often had to use their time and resources to create their own posters for themes that are not always available and for an age group with limited options. With this simple download, any teacher, anywhere, can have bold, colorful, posters with a clear message ready to be printed for their upper elementary and middle school classrooms. This Set Contains: 20 Behavior Mini-Posters (half -page posters depicting good character traits such as respect, honesty, politeness, and ambition). 3 Bullying Posters 6 Diversity Posters 14 General Posters (such as reminders to plug-in electronics, meeting signs, testing signs, etc.) 3 Prompt Posters (includes checklists to redirect students for dismissal, class prep, and end-of-day jobs) 6 Whiteboard Posters (to be laminated and taped on the board over or near your handwritten information such as jobs lists, homework assignments, etc.) Visual Cards Suggested Use and Tips For extra strength and durability, it is highly recommended that cards are laminated or glued to card stock. *redirect and remind students, for example, "what does the poster say?" "Check out the poster!" "Did you do everything mentioned on that poster?" *use Whiteboard Appropriate Illumismart Posters (such as Lunch Jobs, Class Jobs, Change in Schedule, Today's Homework) to direct students to written information (such as student names, changes in schedule, or homework assignment) * visually communicate with and teach nonverbal, struggling readers, some special ed. populations, and ESL/ELL students. *use Behavior Posters to create your own games and classroom activities. *use Behavior Posters to remind students about what certain values and good behavior examples look like.

Rewards Cards for Upper Elementary/Middle School (7 Pages, 42 Cards!)

This set of student rewards cards features themes and pictures appropriate for grades 4-7! Students love the bright visuals and easy-to-identify themes. Bold and exciting cards make the rewards more fun! Rewards and illustrations are geared towards to older students. This set includes variations of timed rewards (such as listen to music, games, computer, social time, extra recess) and a variety of other student-approved rewards such as lunch with a teacher, choice seat, leave class early, choice jobs, and more! Pick and choose the reward cards that will work best for your students, and use these fun cards as tangible incentives. Two golden "grand prize" cards for you to determine-are included. Suggested Use: Place Rewards Cards in a "Rewards Bag or Rewards Box". Students can choose a reward when you "catch them" doing something good (behavior or academic). Remind students this happens sometimes when you observe them (not always!) and that rewards will not be given to students who do something they are supposed to then ask for a reward. Remember to pick and choose which rewards are appropriate for your students. For some rewards, make sure all involved teachers are aware if it affects them in any way (such as joining a class, 5 minutes late etc.) For extra durability and damage resistance, it is strongly recommended that cards are laminated before use (with the exception of quick-use and discard activities). Use a points or token system to earn a choice Reward Card or choose a card from bag/box. Use Rewards Cards as prizes in Study Group/Homework Club/After School games to make studying for a test more exciting for students. Let all participating students get a reward, but let the winners get to choose first. Use Reward Cards as holiday/birthday gifts. Use Reward Cards for random trivia, tough study questions, or extra effort acknowledgement. If using the Golden Grand Prize cards, decide what that prize is and how it is won. Make it special and distinguished from the other cards. Develop your own system using Illumismart Rewards Cards!
